Key facts
On Friday 30 October, the night before Halloween, the poster at Fitz has a name on it: Justin Quiles. The Puerto Rican star behind "Pam" and "Loco" comes to the club on Calle de la Princesa just as a long weekend begins: Saturday is Halloween and Monday 2 November is a public holiday in the Madrid region.
Who is Justin Quiles
Justin Rafael Quiles Rivera was born in 1990 in Bridgeport (Connecticut, USA) to a Puerto Rican family and grew up in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. He debuted in 2010 with "Algo Contigo", has been with the Rich Music label since 2013 and is one of the most recognisable voices in reggaeton of the last decade.
In Spain, his big year was 2020: "Pam", with Daddy Yankee and El Alfa, went to number one on the Promusicae chart and is double platinum. The following year "Loco", with Chimbala and Zion & Lennox, reached number four and has gone platinum five times. Before that, "DJ No Pare" and "Jeans" were already club staples.
He also writes for others, which is why you know more of his songs than you think: he co-wrote Karol G's "Bichota" (where he also sings backing vocals), J Balvin and Daddy Yankee's "Pierde Los Modales", Anitta and J Balvin's "Downtown" and Maluma's "Recuérdame".
What Fitz is like
Fitz opened in April 2023 in the former Sala Arena, at Calle de la Princesa 1, next to Plaza de España. It belongs to Grupo Sounds, the group behind Vandido, Bonded and Castellana 8, and its trademark is an LED dome that changes with each artist and night. J Balvin, Quevedo and Rauw Alejandro have all played there, and the newspaper El Español called it "the club in Madrid that fills up with famous faces every weekend". In early October, Myke Towers night sold in tiers from €25 to €60.
"Pam" was Spain's number one in 2020. On 30 October it plays at Fitz.
Tickets: prices and what they include
Advance tickets cost €50, plus a 10% booking fee, and are sold in tiers: when one sells out, the next costs more. On 15 October, two weeks before the party, the first three tiers (€25, €30 and €40) had already sold out: don't leave it until the last day.
The official ticket says: "Entry includes one drink until 02:00; after that, a €10 surcharge applies". In other words, the drink is included if you get in before 2am; after that there is a €10 surcharge.
Age, ID and dress code
The official ticket is 22+, like every Friday and Saturday at Fitz. The door asks for your original document (passport or national ID card); photos and copies are not accepted. The dress code is smart, so skip the sportswear, and as at any club the door has the final say.
If there are six or more of you, Fitz sells VIP tables: that night's price is on the same official ticket page. Everything else is in our VIP tables guide.
A whole Halloween weekend
Justin Quiles kicks off the weekend. On Saturday 31 Fitz throws its own Halloween party, also 22+, and Sunday 1 is a night out too because Monday is a holiday. Every party on those nights, with today's price, is in our Halloween in Madrid guide.
Getting there and back
Fitz is right outside Plaza de España metro station (lines 2, 3 and 10), so getting there is easy. Getting home is another story: the metro closes around 1:30am and reopens at 6am, right when the party ends. In between there are night buses (búhos, most leave from Cibeles), taxis and ride-hailing apps, which will be in high demand. If you come by commuter train, Príncipe Pío is about ten minutes away on foot.
