In Madrid the student scene is not about venues but about nights: the same club runs a freshers party on a Tuesday and a regular session on Saturday. These are the clubs that programme student nights, plus the ones actually on sale right now, taken from the live listings rather than a fixed list.

What to know

Tickets are bought at the club's own box office, with no added booking fee, and you skip the general queue. Minimum age is usually 18, though some clubs in the Salamanca district ask for more; each club page says so. And nights start late: many sessions open at midnight and fill up around 1am.
