Some Madrid clubs are for dancing; others are also for checking out who is in the VIP area. We can't promise you'll bump into anyone: these are the clubs the press has pictured full of footballers, singers and famous faces, with what it costs to get in, the age limit and how to get past the door.

Fitz: where Spain celebrated the World Cup

Fitz opened in April 2023 at Calle de la Princesa 1, next to Plaza de España, and within eighteen months became "the Madrid club that fills up with celebrities every weekend", as El Español put it in October 2024. Its VIP tables have hosted Piqué, Kun Agüero, Laporte and Spain's under-21 team, and its DJ booth has seen Quevedo, Rauw Alejandro, Travis Scott, J Balvin, Fatboy Slim and Tyga.

Its most famous night was 20 July 2026. After Madrid's welcome for Spain's men's team, the new world champions, the players ended up at Fitz: Marc Cucurella led the chants and Borja Iglesias took over the DJ booth, according to OKDiario. The same outlet reports that Princess Leonor chose it in December 2023, just after turning 18, with eight friends in a VIP room next to the booth.

At Fitz, the most expensive table reaches €10,000; the dance floor, from about €20.

It is the flagship of Grupo Sounds and gets around 45,000 people a month, according to El Español. On a regular night, an advance dance-floor ticket costs around €20-25 (OKDiario mentions €20 with two drinks until 1:30am) and tables start at about €250. On Fridays and Saturdays the official tickets are 22+. And on Saturday 10 October the night belongs to Myke Towers.

Vandido, Bonded and the rest of Grupo Sounds

El Español called its owners "the new kings of Madrid's nightlife" in December 2024. Besides Fitz, Grupo Sounds runs Vandido (Goya 79), Bonded (Miguel Ángel 9), Castellana 8 (a cocktail bar and club with a piano bar, always with a queue) and the restaurant-club Dos Passos. El Debate described Castellana 8 as "the trendy Madrid club where Victoria Federica, footballers and Venezuelan millionaires dance".

Mind the age limit: on its official tickets, Vandido asks for 26+ on some nights, and Bonded has a selective door. The age limit for each night, kept up to date, is in our dress code and age guide.

Gabana: Cristiano's and Shakira's classic

If there's one celebrity club with history in Madrid, it's Gabana. It opened in 1996 on Calle Velázquez and welcomed Valentino, Naty Abascal, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sophia Loren, Bruce Willis and Shakira, according to El Español. It closed in 2018 and came back in 2024 at María de Molina 39, on the corner of Príncipe de Vergara, run by entrepreneur Tito Pajares. Telemadrid called it "the club that won the stars' hearts".

It is still all about tables and a strict door: 21+, a smart look, and music from commercial house to reggaeton.

Perro Negro: Bad Bunny's reggaeton temple

In Medellín, Perro Negro is the club of reggaeton's biggest names: Bad Bunny named a song on his 2023 album after it ("Perro Negro", with Feid), Karol G mentions it in her lyrics and J Balvin and Maluma are regulars at the original, according to El Español. On 14 November 2024 it opened its first European venue at Calle de Don Ramón de la Cruz 28, in the Salamanca district: a replica of the original for 300 people, with a five-million-euro investment. Time Out summed it up: "The club that captivated Bad Bunny and Karol G conquers Madrid's poshest neighbourhood to the beat of reggaeton".

In Madrid it's one of the few clubs that are 25+ almost every night, and it plays nothing but reggaeton. Its page has this week's parties.
