Thursdays at Fitz carry the Chimba brand, and on 22 October the night has a guest: Jon Z. He is one of the names of Puerto Rican Latin trap of the last ten years, with a style like nobody else's and a list of collaborations that runs from Enrique Iglesias to Snoop Dogg.
Who is Jon Z
Jon Z was born in Puerto Rico in 1991, and his stage name joins the first syllable of his own name, Jonathan, with the last of his mother's, Nancy. He started out in 2011 in the duo J-Tonez y Jon Z, and his breakthrough was the "0 Sentimientos" remix, with Noriel, Darkiel, Lyan, Messiah and Baby Rasta, one of the tracks that defined Latin trap in 2016.
Then came "Viajo Sin Ver", which went viral and has more than 340 million YouTube views, and in 2019 "Después Que Te Perdí" with Enrique Iglesias. He has also recorded with Wisin, Farruko, Arcángel, Ñengo Flow, Myke Towers, Tyga, Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg, and in 2026 he released two albums: "Humilde" and "Loco".
Chimba, Fitz's Thursday night
Fitz opened in April 2023 in the former Sala Arena, at Calle de la Princesa 1, next to Plaza de España. It belongs to Grupo Sounds (Vandido, Bonded, Castellana 8) and its trademark is an LED dome that changes every night. Thursdays belong to Chimba, and the age limit is a little lower than at the weekend: 20+ instead of 22+.

Tickets: prices and what they include
Advance tickets cost €25, plus a 10% booking fee, and are sold in tiers: when one sells out, the next costs more.
The official ticket says: "Entry with a drink included until 2.00 am; after that, entry is subject to a €10 surcharge". In other words, the drink is included if you get in before 2am; after that there is a €10 surcharge.
Age, ID and dress code
The official ticket is 20+. The door asks for your original document (passport or national ID card); photos and copies are not accepted. Fitz is smart dress, so skip the sportswear, and as at any club the door has the final say.
Getting there and back
Fitz is right outside Plaza de España metro station (lines 2, 3 and 10). To get home, the metro closes around 1:30am and reopens at 6am; in between there are night buses (búhos, most leave from Cibeles), taxis and ride-hailing apps. If you come by commuter train, Príncipe Pío is about ten minutes away on foot.
